Today is one of the days it sucks being a working mom … it is gorgeous out … not so hot and humid that you sweat standing still … we had a great rain last night and lots of cool sunshine today … hasn’t been this nice out in quite sometime … D and Curly top are heading to the zoo … Curly Top just called me at work to tell me she was going to see the monkeys and elephants … the prairie dogs and otters …

I am soooooo jealous and sad that I am stuck sitting here in my office while they get to be at the zoo today …

I hate that I have to cram all the fun stuff I can into the 2 days of the weekend … and the maybe 3 hours we get together at night …

I want to be packing up and heading to the zoo right now …
