Well David just couldn’t take the pressure today … I was actually experiencing morning sickness all day today … nauseous all day with heartburn … even felt a bit feverish … I think David was a bit worried … he doesn’t understand there isn’t really anything you can do about it …

So after work today we headed over to my parents house … David practiced what he was going to say and when we got there … David said, What I am about to tell you will not interfere with any of your WTTW trips but it might impact Lesley’s wedding … you are about to become grandparents for a second time.” … it took them a second but then my mom started to squeal with delight … she was very happy David couldn’t wait till Thanksgiving …

On the way home from my parents house David called his dad … he told him to get a calendar … once he got it David said “Turn to June 4th and mark that day because it is Liz’s due date … you are going to become a grandparent again” … Wally was just so excited … I got on the phone and he said “Please bring me a little girl.” … see David is one of 3 boys and David’s brother has had 3 boys … so Wally is ready to have a little girl around …

When we got home we called my brother and sister-in-law … they had already figured it out … they could understand me quitting smoking but not giving up Starbucks … they thought something was up … but they were quite excited none-the-less …

Then David called both his brothers but only got to speak to Kevin … they talked a long time and Kevin and his wife were excited … but David wasn’t able to get a hole of Drew yet … so unless someone else called them they are the only family members who don’t know yet …

It is kinda nice having told everyone … but I still miss having the secret …
